The Winter Music Conference in Miami is apparently one of the biggest DJ entertainment events in the industry. Too bad it's all the way down in Florida. Never mind though, the prodigious DJ's of DC brought the party home and threw a party in a random loft in NE... and the DJ's spun until 5am.

The Hirshhorn After Hours sold out days before the event. Something about partying and drinking in one of the world's premier art galleries that brings DC residents out in droves, can't imagine what it is...

Last night, before heading over to the Hirshhorn After Hours, I had the special privilege of shooting DJ's Gavin Holland and Tittsworth (aka HUGE in DC) at the District Line in Georgetown. The alcohol sponsor for the event, P.I.N.K. Vodka, is vodka infused with guarana and caffeine. P.I.N.K.'s rep poured me a cup of that stuff and Red Bull, I almost had a heart attack. Yikes.
Last night at Chloe Biz Markie was on the wheels of steel... and in a steel cage too for that matter.

The Frustrations are a local DC band I had the opportunity to do some portrait work for... it was a lot of fun. We went out into the street as well as delving down into the bowels of the DC Metro.
I went over to my buddy (and fellow BYT shooter) Joel's place to work with him in his studio.
